Description

This 295 page book compiled in two volumes by local historian William A. Fleming is printed by Clan Carmichael Charitable Trust as a combined book and includes an introduction written by Chief Richard Carmichael of Carmichael.

William Fleming was the tenant farmer in Warrenhill farm up to the 1980’s and when he retired to live in the town of Lanark, he wrote historical research books about our rural community and its history.

This is an amazing two volume collection of old photographs and documents and stories and runs to hundreds of pages. It is only available from us at our Clan Carmichael Charitable Trust Visitor Centre and Farm Shop ML12 6PF  and any proceeds will help support our local Charity and community.

Note:- this is not a history of Clan Carmichael but a history of the Parish of Carmichael and its peoples.
